Harvest Madness was an incredible night of basketball, fellowship and fun as we officially kicked off another season of Harvest Athletics! With a great turnout of families and fans, the evening featured an exciting competition between two squads, with the group wearing black jerseys taking home an 80–77 victory.
One of the best parts of the night was seeing players from all five Harvest basketball teams—middle school boys and girls, JV boys and girls, and varsity boys and girls—competing together. There were plenty of highlight-reel moments, including Yelena’s running three-pointer, Judah celebrating his birthday with a reverse layup through contact, and Andreas dribbling through a defender’s legs before finishing with a layup!
The three-point contest brought its own excitement, with Braden defeating Harper and Judah in the finals to take home the championship.
Perhaps the most meaningful moment came after the game, when players gathered at center court and families and fans surrounded them for a time of prayer over the upcoming season, our players, coaches, and everyone involved in Harvest basketball.
This was our second Harvest Madness, and it was a fantastic way to get the season started! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening special. We can’t wait to see what this season has in store!
