The 2026 Mother-Son event was such a great day! Mr. Pincomb shared a message with the boys that is close to the heart of all teenage boy moms. Hearing the sweet, heartfelt words from the senior boys to their mommas was something I will carry forever in my heart. The Amazing Race game was so much fun to complete. Ethan and I had to work together mentally and physically to solve the challenges. We determined that while I may be good at solving riddles, I am not very coordinated when it comes to mirroring my partner. We laughed, we talked, and we laughed some more. The food and fellowship with other moms and sons at Top Golf was a great way to wrap up a truly special day!

The mother-son event was so much fun. First, we were blessed by Mr. Pincomb. Even though some of the topics were more for the older boys in the room, the subject matter with the corresponding scriptures was so powerful! The entire presentation was really well done! It was great for Elias to see the senior young men write such kind words for their moms as well.
The scripture puzzle was really hard. We are in need of memorizing Philippians 4:6–7 in all translations. Lol!
The Amazing Race was exhilarating and challenging. Our tactic was… just take off and go full speed, then ask questions and read instructions later. It was fun to see how we work as a team!
It was so great to spend all the extra time with other mommas and sons at Top Golf! The buffet was delicious and the competition was fun. Also, loved seeing everyone’s different take on the Country Club theme! Overall, it was a great time! Thank you to all the volunteers and for the hard work put into making such a memorable time for me and Elias.
